Dare Keeper

Terms of Service

Last updated October 24, 2026

By using Dare Keeper (the bot) you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.

The basics

Who runs what

Dare Keeper is an automated tool. It provides, the mechanics, but server staff control the content and server experience. Users with "Manage Server" permissions control:

Bot and Operator Limits:

Only a server's staff can moderate people or content in that server. Other players can't, and neither can the bot's operator. If a dare in your server bothers you, or someone is misusing the bot, tell that server's staff. They set it up, and they can change it. A dare you dislike isn't a fault in the bot, and the operator isn't responsible for dares or behavior in a server. If a built-in dare is the problem, staff can switch it off, and you can tell the operator at darekeeper@proton.me.

Adult dares and age

Adult dares are off unless a server's staff turn them on, and they only start from channels that staff marks age-restricted. That is the age check. Discord requires people to confirm they're adults before they can open those channels, and the bot won't start an adult dare anywhere else.

The bot never asks for, checks or stores your ID or birthday. It relies on Discord's age restriction instead of verifying anyone itself. You must be an adult where you live to take part in adult dares, and the server's staff are responsible for turning them on.

What you send

No warranty

The bot is provided as is. It may break, change, lose data, or shut down at any time. To the extent the law allows, the operator isn't liable for anything that happens from using it or from doing a dare.

Changes

These terms may be updated, and the date above will change. Using the bot afterward means you accept them.
